HOW TO BOOK AND PAY FOR KASNEB EXAMS ONLINE VIA STUDENT PORTAL

  • On the left side pane, navigate to Examination Booking, Student Booking and select Examination Booking.
  • Click on Book Examination on the displayed information.
  • If your renewal is up to date, click Next. If you haven’t yet paid renewal fee, click Renew and Book to do it at same time.
  • Select the preferred papers and preferred examination centre, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and submit the application.
  • Click Proceed to Payment to view the invoice.
  • Click Proceed to Payment. On the displayed information, confirm the number you want to make payment with under Paying Phone Number.
  • Click Pay Now then under Select Payment Mode, click M-pesa.
  • Under Pay Using M-Pesa, click here as indicated in step 1 of display information then click Initiate Payment.
  • M-Pesa prompt notification will pop up on your phone. Enter M-Pesa pin to complete the transaction.
  • Your booking will be approved after a few minutes.
  • To download your student timetable from the portal, navigate to Examination Booking, Student Booking and select Student Timetable.

HOW TO REGISTER AS A KASNEB NEW STUDENT

HOW TO REGISTER FOR CPA EXAMINATION AS A NEW STUDENT Sign up on kasneb portal https://online.kasneb.or.ke then login using your credentials and proceed with the following steps:

  • Select ‘No’ since you do not have an existing student registration number. You will be directed to the student portal dashboard.
  • Select CPA as the type of examination, read the general instructions, and click on Register Examination to proceed with the registration application.
  • Fill in the registration application as guided be the portal steps, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and submit the application.
  • Click Proceed to Payment. On the displayed information, confirm the number you want to make payment with under Paying Phone Number.
  • Click Pay Now and M-Pesa prompt notification (ecitizen-222222) will pop up on your phone. Enter M-Pesa pin to complete the transaction.
  • Wait for back-office registration approval. You will receive your student registration number details via email once your application has been approved.
  • Login to your portal account and under Dashboard, click Examination Accounts. The status will show Active.

Note:

  • If you have an account but you forgot forgot your password, you can recover it by clicking on forgot password button
  • In case you already have an account and you forgot both password and the email you used or you no longer have access to the email you created the account with, just create a new account using a new email account

 

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Students are required to Log into the web based e-kasneb portal using the link: https://online.kasneb.or.ke
2. After successful sign up in the NEW e-kasneb application, you are required to activate your account via your email address. Go to your email address and select the message “KASNEB ACCOUNT VERIFICATION”. Click on the link to activate your account.
3. ACTIVATION OF ACCOUNT SHOULD BE DONE WITHIN 24 HOURS. If the token has expired, reset your password and log in again.
4. For NEW students registering for the first time, ensure that the information you have provided while signing up is correct. (Names, email address, phone number and national ID number)
6. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU PROVIDE INACCURATE INFORMATION , YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT.

    1. Call kasneb and ask them to delete the existing account. that way you will be able to create a new one with the right details

    d to create another portal using different email ikakataa…I visited kasneb office in upperhil n they adviced me tht they wil launch another Kasneb App na ile kasneb interactive ya awali wataitoa….so am wondering wats the problm ju time imeenda ….plz advice.

  65. Hallo over there. I love my course. Alot; but am badly off financially. So i irregulary attend my classes. Read about KASNEB students being given loans. Should the propasal be passed. Kindly help me secure one. Been thinking too; now that am just an ATD 2 student. Might you guys be having job outlets for students at my level.

  66. I am trying to log in to your student portal but I cant get through yet I am using my correct email address and password. I have even tried to follow the links you are sending us on access the timetable but still nothing is working. I urgently need to access my CPA section 5 timetable so that I can ascertain whether my sitting center has been changed or it remains the same as what I had indicated on applying for the exams not.
